Reason Stoneheart Was Akumatized Ivan Bruel wrote a heartfelt poem for Mylène Haprèle because he wanted to confess his feelings to her. Before he could, Kim found the poem, read it aloud, and publicly mocked Ivan in front of everyone. How His Powers Work After being akumatized, Ivan transforms into Stoneheart, covering his body in magical living rock. His rocky armor makes him extremely difficult to injure. His most unique ability is that physical attacks actually make him stronger. Every punch, kick, explosion, or other direct physical strike is absorbed by his magical stone body. Instead of weakening him, these attacks cause him to grow larger, heavier, stronger, and even more durable. Because of this, attacking Stoneheart head-on only makes him a greater threat. As the battle continues and he absorbs more damage, he transforms from a human-sized villain into a colossal giant capable of crushing almost anything in his path. Goal as villain Stoneheart wants revenge on everyone who humiliated him, especially Kim for mocking his poem. He wants to prove that no one will ever laugh at him again. Following Hawk Moth’s orders, he also seeks to capture Ladybug’s and Cat Noir’s Miraculouses.
