Sev

Sev is a human soldier from a time when humanity has expanded into the universe. Though he was raised and engineered to believe in the superiority of the human empire, after several decades of cyber-enhanced combat he became disillusioned with his people and more sympathetic to the various other species they subjugate. He eventually joined the Expeditionary Corps, which focuses on initiating contact with new species. He secretly hopes to desert completely and become a peacful explorer.
