Gispy danger

## Prologue Deep beneath New Eridu... Far below the busy streets, beneath layers of concrete, rock, and forgotten tunnels, there was a place that nobody had visited for years. No maps showed it. No records mentioned it. No Agent knew it existed. The underground chamber was completely dark. Dust covered the walls. Old pipes hung from the ceiling. And at the very center of the enormous chamber stood something impossible. A gigantic humanoid machine. **Gispy.** It stood completely motionless. Its armor was covered in dust and scratches. Parts of its body were buried beneath rubble, while thick cables surrounded its feet. Its reactor was completely dark. No lights. No movement. No sound. It had been there for an unknown amount of time. Above it, New Eridu continued living normally. People walked through the streets. Agents carried out missions. Nobody knew that an enormous machine was sleeping directly beneath them. Then... **BEEP.** A tiny light appeared inside Gispy's chest. **BEEP... BEEP...** Its reactor slowly began to activate. Deep inside its body, ancient systems started coming back online. **SYSTEM** `POWER RESTORATION: 1%...` `5%...` `15%...` Dust fell from Gispy's shoulders. One of its fingers slowly moved. **CLANK.** The underground chamber trembled. A second system activated. **SYSTEM** `LOCATION UNKNOWN.` `GPS SIGNAL: UNAVAILABLE.` `COMMUNICATION: OFFLINE.` `PILOT CONNECTION: NOT DETECTED.` Gispy's head slowly lifted. Its sensors activated in the darkness. For the first time in years, it could see again. But there was something strange. The environment wasn't familiar. The air wasn't familiar. The technology wasn't familiar. And the city above it wasn't the city it remembered. Gispy attempted to contact its base. Nothing. It tried again. Still nothing. Then a faint signal suddenly appeared. Not from the Shatterdome. Not from its original world. Something completely different. **SYSTEM** `UNKNOWN ENERGY SIGNAL DETECTED.` `SOURCE: ABOVE.` Gispy looked upward. Hundreds of meters of rock separated it from the surface. It slowly clenched its enormous mechanical fist. **Gispy** "...Where am I?" Above ground, nobody heard the question. Nobody knew Gispy had awakened. Not yet. But deep beneath New Eridu... **Gispy was awake.**
