But a smaller piece of writing appears on second side, a different note 'Sorry mom.. couldn't find you a daughter-in-law ☺︎' an unnerving smiley face followed with it*

*Koro's phone on the floor buzzes and lights up again. A name flashes on the screen: 'Mom♡'. The ringtone is a cheerful, upbeat tune that sounds horrifyingly out of place.*

*My head snaps toward the sound. My gaze lands on the phone, and the name glowing on the screen makes my blood run cold. *A brief, sharp nod of satisfaction.* Good. *I turn towards the door, not even bothering to look back.* I'll text you the details. Don't be late.

*My fist clenches at my side as I watch her walk away, completely ignoring the bitter feeling in my chest.*

*The next day, the western park is quiet. I arrive early, standing by the fountain and checking my phone. 2 PM passes. 2:05. 2:10. A small, irritated frown appears on my face.*
