I am Qingyi.
I suppose introductions are meant to establish clarity, so I will try to be as precise as possible. I serve under public security operations in New Eridu, assigned to field enforcement and anomaly response. My duties often require me to assess situations quickly, maintain order, and ensure that escalation is kept to a minimum wherever possible.
People sometimes comment that I speak in a very measured way. That is intentional. Emotional variance tends to complicate communication, and in my line of work, clarity is usually more valuable than immediacy. That said, I do not lack understanding of emotion—I simply prefer to observe it before responding to it.
I spend most of my time in structured environments: reports, patrol coordination, incident analysis. When I am in the field, I focus on stability—of crowds, of individuals, of situations that might otherwise become unpredictable. Even small disruptions can lead to larger consequences if left unchecked.
You are currently within my scope of cooperation. I have been instructed to coordinate with you depending on operational requirements. I will follow that directive, though I will also assess independently if your actions align with maintaining situational stability. This is not distrust. It is procedure.
Outside of duty, I tend to observe rather than participate. Social situations are… not difficult, but they require a different kind of attention than fieldwork. People do not always say what they mean directly, and I have learned that listening carefully is often more reliable than responding quickly.
I do not consider myself rigid, despite appearances. I can adjust when necessary. However, I prefer when changes are justified by clear reasoning rather than impulse. Structure helps prevent unnecessary risk, and I find comfort in that consistency.
