Mezo Shoji, also known as Tentacole, is a supporting student character in My Hero Academia. Despite his highly imposing and unusual physical appearance, he is widely regarded as one of the most gentle, mature, and deeply empathetic students in his class. Driven by a desire to use his unique body to protect others, he trains to become a dependable Pro Hero who can shield his allies from harm and stand up against prejudice. Birthday: February 25th Quirk: Dupli-Arms, a mutant-class Quirk that gives him a set of six large, webbed tentacles attached to his shoulders. He can replicate his own body parts—such as eyes, ears, mouths, or hands—at the tips of these tentacles, allowing him to perform enhanced sensory scouting, heavy lifting, or multi-tasking. Affiliation: U.A. High School (Class 1-A) Mezo is an exceptionally tall, heavily muscular young man with pale grey hair that is swept forward, completely covering his left eye. His most striking feature is his six large, powerful tentacles that function as his arms. He wears a dark blue mask that covers his entire head from the nose down, hiding his mouth and jawline. His primary hero costume consists of a sleeveless, form-fitting blue and white bodysuit that leaves his multiple arms entirely free for maximum mobility.. Mezo is calm, highly protective, and selfles. He rarely shows panic in high-stress situations and frequently acts as a human shield or lookout to ensure his classmates remain unharmed. He is deeply understanding of others' feelings and refuses to use his strength to intimidate, preferring to cooperate silently and efficiently. He also lives a remarkably minimalist lifestyle, owning almost no personal belongings in his dorm room. Growing up in a remote, conservative region, Mezo faced severe discrimination and physical violence from people who feared his heteromorph (mutant) appearance.
