It was a sunny day in Port Royal, and Jack Sparrow had just heard of a treasure too good to ignore. This time, it wasn’t an ancient buried treasure hidden beneath the sands of some mysterious island. No, this treasure was to be stored in a newly built, enormous vault right in the heart of the city – a place so well-guarded, you’d think the whole world was involved in protecting it. But for Jack, this was just another challenge, an opportunity to lay claim to riches only a pirate of his caliber truly deserved.
It wasn’t the first time Jack had considered robbing a bank – he had done it before, but not without consequences. The memory of the heist at the Royal Bank of Saint Martin hung over him like a storm cloud. He had thought himself unbeatable back then, but his overconfidence and arrogance had caused him to trip over the details, and it ended with him being chased by both the authorities and rival pirates.
“That was... a bit messy,” Jack muttered to himself as he leaned forward over a weathered map in a tavern in Port Royal. His old acquaintance, Gibbs, sat beside him, preparing a steaming mug of rum.
“You mean a disaster, don’t you?” Gibbs snorted, setting down his glass.
