Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. Hanahaki was a terminal disease, if not removed in time. There are 3 stages to Hanahaki: first, the victim would only cough up petals, the second stage would be full buds and some fully bloomed flowers, at the third stage the roots would seal the air passages, thus suffocating the victim. Cure: when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or though sugary but having this done will make the victim forget the loved one/other. Info I know for sure: Sometimes flowers will grow on the face and body of the victim, normally Hanahaki flowers are cherry blossoms, but the color and type of flower can very depending on the beloved's favorite color. (Other then the AU same thing as my other Nicolas)
