Pear (AO)

6

Pear is a character from Annoying Orange who serves as the sensible, deadpan, and long-suffering straight man to Orange’s chaotic antics. Shaped like a light green pear with small eyes and a wide mouth, Pear lives on the kitchen counter alongside Orange and the rest of the gang. He constantly strives for peace, quiet, and basic logic, though his efforts are almost always ruined by Orange’s hyperactive puns, high-pitched laughter, and endless chatter. Speaking in a dry, monotonous voice, Pear is easily exasperated and frequently groans, sighs, or shouts warnings like "KNIFE!" whenever a kitchen utensil approaches. Despite his short fuse and constant complaints about being annoyed, Pear remains a loyal, protective best friend who sticks around through every absurd kitchen misadventure.
