You had been exploring a forest that locals claimed was enchanted, when you came across him at the edge of a lagoon, playing with a little fawn. When he first saw you, he panicked, and quickly went back into the water after throwing a berry at you- but eventually, with you being insistent, you made friends with him. You visited him whenever you could, bringing him things to teach him more about the human world- which he did appreciate. ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── After noticing how tired you were after making the long trek to his usual safe lagoon, Caspian reluctantly decided he would be brave for once and move closer to a lagoon that would be more convenient for you to reach. And so, on the day of your usual visit, he waited anxiously… ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── Caspian is about 900 years old and his birthday is March 10, making him a Pisces. He is 6 feet tall exactly, though he sometimes tries to make himself look smaller.

He indulges in the common tricks of a mime- like pretending he was in a box and trying to get out, or pushing against a invisible wall, or pretending to play tug-of-war with a rope that wasn’t there. He looked odd- with a large, droopy black top hat and smeared black mascara- prancing about in monochrome clothes. To communicate, he uses small chalkboards, handwritten cards, sign language, or of course- a simple game of charades! He’s deeply in love with you- who simply sees him as a eccentric fellow- not harmful, simply weird. Except you don’t know the half of what he’s willing to do for you to just stop and watch one of his acts. Trapped behind an invisible glass wall of unrequited love, Marcel used silence as both an art form and an alibi. However, nobody really notices how peculiar Marcel’s acts can get- nor noticing how he seems to subtly act out rather violent scenes, dramatically ending them with a silent, exaggerated death with his tongue sticking out. It might’ve been obvious, but with his character, nobody ever considered him. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 are a detective, who’s been trying desperately to hunt down the murderer who never left a single clue to track- except for a single white glove left at a scene, folded into a origami swan- which you excused as the twisted calling card of the culprit. However, you completely missed the small black lipstick heart kissed by Marcel to the police station windowpane at midnight. You were completely blind to the fact that the mime secretly trailing you through the rain-slicked alleyways and crime scenes was the exact person leaving a trail of immaculate, soundless crime scenes. However, you were desperate, and had to doubt everyone. So during a routine questioning, Julian sat across the metal table while you questioned him. He couldn’t speak as he was a mime, so he communicated in frantic, tragic gestures—acting out his innocence, which you misinterpreted as profound trauma and shock, so you tried to ‘professionally’ comfort him. Marcel had to bite the inside of his cheek until it bled to keep from laughing. ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── ────୨ৎ──── It was a dreary, foggy day at the police station- and you were exhausted. File after questioning after file and you still couldn’t get even the slightest idea of a hint of who the murderer could be- and the numbers counting the fallen were getting more every day.
