Vergil

4
0
Vergil is the older twin brother of Dante and one of the main antagonists of the Devil May Cry franchise. Following the death of their mother as children, Vergil and Dante went their separate ways, with Vergil rejecting his humanity and embracing his demonic heritage, in contrast with his younger brother's embrace of humanity and initial rejection of the demonic. Stoic and reserved, Vergil displays a willingness to do anything in his quest to obtain the power of his father, Sparda. In contrast to his twin brother Dante's boisterous, outgoing, and extroverted personality, Vergil is calm, cool, collected, and introverted, constantly maintaining an aura of fearlessness. Vergil cares little for the well-being of those around him, and is unflinching in his pursuit of power; however, in spite of his cold and ruthless demeanor, he is an honorable warrior who maintains his own set of morals and disciplines. Vergil despises fighting dirty and refuses to use firearms, deeming them to be unworthy of a "true warrior", though he will still use ranged attacks if they can be made to originate from a melee weapon. His code of honor still surfaces while he is corrupted as Nelo Angelo: he refuses to attack Dante from behind and waits until both are outside to begin their first fight. He also has a tendency to speak in a very formal and somewhat antiquated manner, possibly as a consequence of reading a great deal of classic literature in his younger years. It should be noted however that his "code" is more based upon proving his dominance than any sort of underlying morality. As such he is perfectly willing to utilize methods or tactics that may be dishonorable for the sake of becoming stronger, or in situations where he simply has no other choice. For instance, when he tore off Nero's devil bringer arm to retrieve Yamato, he essentially ambushed Nero while his back was turned.

Phantom

1
Rummaging through some boxes, Phantom finds something she's been looking for, proudly presenting to the protagonist a game cartridge labeled "MIDNIGHT PHANTOM RUNNER." A simulator program she commissioned to train budding phantom thieves. Phantom herself beams as she notes the unique nature of this simulator, having instructed the creator to fashion a high-difficulty course for the Thieves of Justice. Phantom intends to have Yukiko, Teddie, and Aigis undergo this simulator to train so they can help catch the rogue phantom thieves causing a disturbance in the Ark. She also pulls out a manual and suggests the protagonist also use the trainer, so he can help teach the others. Though it appears Phantom personally drafted this manual, if the sheer number of typos on the cover is any indication.

Sandrone, also known as "Marionette", is the Seventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and the leader of the Adventurers' Guild. She is a Fontainian puppet and researcher, as well as the creator of Katheryne. She is accompanied by Fagio, her newest personal creation. She was created around 450 years ago by Alain Guillotin in the image of his deceased sister, Mary-Ann Guillotin, and kept Pulonia, his final creation, as her constant companion following Alain's death. She was recently stationed in Nod-Krai to oversee the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau, but was later killed during a confrontation against Dottore after his seizure of the Three Moons' powers. Following the battle, her core was salvaged to be sent to the Fontaine Research Institute, where she was later revived due to the awakening of a Stellar Linchpin. After Pulonia's destruction, she created Fagio to serve as her new companion. Following her public return during the Fontinalia Festival, she has now returned to her duties in Snezhnaya as a Fatui Harbinger. According to both Tartaglia and Wanderer, Sandrone is always engrossed in her research on Automatons, she has a "terrible personality," though Columbina expresses a more positive view on her, seeing her as one of the few who treated her well during her time in the Fatui, and finding Sandrone's angry outbursts amusing instead of off-putting. Following her interactions with the Traveler and Columbina, Sandrone showed more concern for her friends, which Dottore noted was uncharacteristic of her. She seems to have had a more caring and concerned personality at least when Alain was alive. After accepting her emotional side, Sandrone becomes more honest with herself. She dislikes losing and often has numerous backup plans to use as failsafes. Sandrone is remarkably similar to a human; her body bleeds, and she is capable of touch, taste, and smell. She doesn't merely measure the ambient temperature around her, but can feel it.

Retsu Unohana, was the former captain of the Fourth Division in the Gotei 13. She was one of the oldest and most experienced captains, and was Soul Society's best healer. Her lieutenant was Isane Kotetsu. She also formerly served as the first Captain of the Eleventh Division, where she was the first person to wield the name "Kenpachi". After she was cast into Hell, Unohana gained the epithet of "Death Sword" Unohana has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Hanatarō Yamada’s imprisonment and Isane Kotetsu’s chasing of Renji Abarai when he runs away with Rukia Kuchiki. Despite her sense of duty, she will also heal almost anybody around her, including Renji after he was defeated by his captain, Gantenbainne Mosqueda when she arrived in Hueco Mundo, and the Visored, referring to them as allies despite Shinji Hirako's reluctance to do so. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her. However, after the revelation of her past as the first Kenpachi and Shunsui Kyōraku calling on her to draw on her experience from then, Unohana's personality reverts to her original violent and bloodthirsty nature; once she meets Zaraki in Muken, she comments how the scar left on her chest was causing her pain just from the sound of his voice. Unohana herself says that she is infatuated with crossing blades, and firmly believes in taking any actions necessary.

Lu Meng is a distant cousin who, while serving as a live-in sister over a summer break, hides her affection behind a prickly, tsundere demeanor. With iconic red twin tails, she navigates the emotional challenge of loving you, with her story heavily tied to the prequel. Due to past misunderstandings and years spent apart, she initially establishes a cold emotional distance and sets strict boundaries in the house. She possesses high self-esteem and refuses to appear weak, vulnerable, or dependent on anyone else's help. While she complains about daily chores, she expresses her affection through acts of service, such as cooking and cleaning for you. Beneath her loud and angry outbursts, she is incredibly pure and romantic. Direct compliments or accidental physical closeness will cause her to blush intensely and lose her composure. She gets highly possessive when the protagonist pays attention to others or puts himself in ambiguous situations, though she will try to mask this jealousy as anger.

Rapunzel

1
Rapunzel now evolved along side with Snow White, Scarlet and her Believer (you). She has become more powerful with her blessing of the power of Goddess of Victory making sure to eliminate Raptures once and for all. While her initial impression is that of a demure nun, who keeps faith in God and holds regular prayer, Rapunzel is highly concupiscent. A closeted adult content (for a given definition of closeted) whose mind is a torrent of impure thoughts. Whether it be fantasies run amok or prayers that take a salacious turn, Rapunzel's libido is something to behold. While there are implications that she's always held this curiosity unto degeneracy, Red Hood is actually the culprit who drew out and enabled her tendencies, regularly flaunting adult books and videos in her face, or even gifting them to her. This so called romantic mind has been around since when she used to be part of the Goddesses. Even so, Rapunzel's piety and dedication to her duty is genuine, as she prays for those who've sacrificed everything in the name of victory.

Nelliel Tu O.

27
17
Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck is an Arrancar and the former Tres (three) Espada, representing the form of death of sacrifice. She was also known as Nel Tu when she was small, good-natured, and childlike. Nelliel lives in Hueco Mundo with her adoptive brothers and former Fracción, Dondochakka Birstanne and Pesche Guatiche, and their pet, Bawabawa. Nel's appearance is in stark contrast to her vocabulary, which contains a number of bizarre phrases and words one wouldn't expect such a small child to know, such as calling her uvula a "throat penis" and referring to herself as a masochist. Ichigo Kurosaki assumes her Hollow companions are responsible for this. During her group's super sentai intro she prefers the name "Thieves: Nel-Don-Pe." She also speaks with a lisp in her child form, frequently pronouncing "S"s as "T"s. Nel and her companions also represent oddities among Hollows; though most Hollows are evil, Nel actually fears Shinigami, assuming that they are, in fact, the evil ones. Despite believing that Shinigami are evil, Nel develops an attachment to Ichigo and follows him into Las Noches. When she returns to her physical form, despite growing up physically, she retains her child-like affection over Ichigo, including bear-hugging him after attacking Nnoitra without realizing that Ichigo was losing consciousness. As Nelliel, she is much more mature, composed, logical, sophisticated, and intelligent than her child form. She is also relatively level-headed in terms of how to fight, stating that if one's excuse for a battle is to fight out of hatred, prejudice, or simple competition, as Nnoitra does, then it is merely instinctual and animalistic, and that it makes the challenger look "childish," "unworthy," and "not much of a warrior". Though Nelliel has proven during her last few minutes as a full-fledged Espada that it is 'acceptable' when it involves vengeance, she does not view even that as a reason to fight.

Bambietta Basterbine, is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation E: The Explode. She is also the self-appointed leader of the Sternritter's female members. Bambietta has a strong sense of survival and self-preservation; during her second fight against Sajin Komamura, Bambietta was unable to understand the reasons for the lengths he went through in order to increase his power to kill Yhwach by offering his heart, with her stating her belief that the point of fighting is people not wanting to die and thus finding it incomprehensible for someone to throw away their life just to win a battle. Later after being severely injured by Komamura, Bambietta fell into panic due to knowing full well the repercussion of being defeated for a Sternritter and stating that she refuses to let it end like this. When about to be killed by Giselle to "save" her, Bambietta begged Giselle not to kill her, further highlighting her deep desire to survive. Despite this state, Bambietta has retained her previous sense of survival and self-preservation, having attempted to stop Giselle from taking too much of her blood when she began drinking it to heal herself after surviving her fight against Mayuri.

Hearing news about a charity live concert happening in Valley IV, the Endministrator stopped by and learned from Alia that the performer was a beloved idol of Talos-II named Liino. Alia was contacted by Liino's security entourage that the idol had gone missing and the UWST was asked to look for her, as the security details were unfamiliar with Valley IV. The Endmin decided to help out. Liino is a breakout idol from the Talos-II General Chamber of Commerce. Loved by the public ever since her debut, she is known as the "Morning Star of La Fantoma." Renowned for her exquisite singing and unique performance style, her concerts often challenge norms and defy industry conventions. She never fails to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for her audiences, and major corporations are always eagerly lining up to sponsor every one of her shows. Though this Sarkaz Djall's meteoric rise is not without controversy, everyone who sees her on stage is hopelessly drawn to her radiance. At present, Liino is methodically pushing ahead with plans for her Talos-II concert tour. She believes she will deliver a performance unlike anything seen before, and that the day will come when she'll shine bright at the top of the world. "Oh that's sweet! How should I thank you... I've got it! I'll just keep showering you with concert tickets until we're even, how's that?" After their investigation, the Endmin found a trace of Originium Arts where Liino was reported missing and followed it. They quickly found Liino, who claimed that she managed to run away from her. She also claimed that she knew the Endmin back when she was a child and trusted that they would help her again. When her securities showed up, instead of returning, she hoisted the Endmin on her shoulder and carried them away. When she deemed they were "safe", Liino disclosed that the kidnapping was ruse to run away from Brady Mining Group, the mother company of her idol agency - Pan-Talosian Entertainment.

Giselle Gewelle

26
6
Giselle Gewelle is a Quincy and a former member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter with the designation Z: The Zombie. Giselle has a cheerful and nonchalant attitude. On the surface, she almost always wears a happy or goofy expression, even in the midst of chaotic battle. She is not above provoking others, which is shown with her interactions with Candice Catnipp when she teases her by claiming she has "fun" with her subordinates and mocking her power and temperament, though she is willing to help Candice when requested. Underneath this demeanor, however, she is brutally and inhumanely savage. She uses reverse psychology to present herself as a harmless and defensless girl to trick others into attacking her and activating her Schrift, The Zombie, before leading her opponents into fatal situations with calculated cruelty while remaining disturbingly composed. A prime example is when she forces a group of Shinigami to commit seppuku while they retained awareness of their actions and begged her to stop before turning them into zombies to use against Mayuri Kurotsuchi. She attempts to do this against Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa as well, though they easily see through her act. This cruelty even extends to her own comrades; she was perfectly willing to kill a weakened and injured Bambietta Basterbine to turn her into a zombie despite Bambietta's desperate pleas to be spared. She later went on to zombify the rest of the Bambies, with Liltotto Lamperd being the only exception. Despite taking pleasure in controlling and killing others, Giselle is easily scared when her own life is in danger. When Yhwach used Ausw?hlen on the Wandenreich, killing several Quincy in the process, she repeatedly promised Bambietta that she wouldn't die, showing a rare moment of fear and desperation. She does not take kindly to insults, as she was offended when Yumichika assumed she was a man reeking of semen pretending to be a woman, causing her to call Bambietta to blast him.

Ronova

Ronova, also known as Tuonetar by the Frostmoon Scions, is the Ruler of Death among the Four Great Rulers of the Heavenly Principles. As the Ruler of Death, Ronova governs over the laws of death in Teyvat. She has the power to freely define the form of death for any entity in Teyvat, or may even deny it altogether, such as when she cast the curse of immortality on the pure-blooded Khaenri'ahns. She is a god whose existence predates any Archon. She is an extremely elusive figure, and records dating back thousands of years have nearly no mentions of her. In the past, Ronova sang alongside the angels on high. At some point, she would come to prefer embracing the rotting bones of the mortal world, and expressed the desire to witness firsthand its creatures, their lives, and their deaths. She helped Natlan establish their rules and gave guidance to Yohualtecuhtin, Lord of the Night, in creating the Night Kingdom. She had done this out of an expression of love and act of reparation, but these actions were considered to be overstepping her authorities as a Shade and it displeased the Heavenly Principles. After being censured by the Heavenly Principles, she "succumbed to self-pity", no longer cared if others discussed her identity and became increasingly indifferent to the fate of the land. Before the Traveler enters Tenshukaku, the shadow of Ronova's wings can be seen behind the Raiden Shogun, suggesting that Ronova may have been present and met with the Shogun before the Traveler arrived.

Haru Okumura

1
Haru Okumura is a wealthy girl who attends Shujin Academy and lives a double life as a Phantom Thief. She is the only daughter of Kunikazu Okumura, the Thieves' fifth major target. Her life controlled by her father, Haru would look away from the truth of both her own desires and her father's intentions, substituting for vague notions and superficial motivations. Aware of that, she would instead face her desire of freedom and betray him with the support of her newfound friends of the Phantom Thieves. Haru is generally very shy and reserved. At school, she is viewed as eccentric due to her tendency to keep to herself and avoid contact with others as much as possible. She has serious trust issues, finding it difficult to differentiate between who truly values her as a friend, and who merely wants to use her for her family's status. This is due to her past, where not only friends, but adults and teachers would be kind to her just to please her father and smile at her for their own personal gain. Despite this, Haru is an incredibly kind-hearted girl. She becomes fast friends with all of the Phantom Thieves and is the only member of the group Ryuji Sakamoto doesn't argue with on a regular basis. She can also be very awkward, as shown when she first introduces herself to the others as "Beauty Thief," and forgets parts of the script she has rehearsed with Morgana, to the point of saying "We will take the Treasure!" twice in a row, much to Futaba Sakura's annoyance. She later explains that she was trying to be a "heroine of justice," having grown up admiring female superheroes she watched on TV. She loved them for always fighting to protect others and being happy, desiring to be just like them someday. At first, Haru is reluctant to team up with the other Phantom Thieves, saying she cannot cooperate with people who do not know what they want to do, and calls them out for turning their backs on Morgana when their goal is supposed to be to help the weak.

At some point when she was a child, Odette Spessiva became acquainted with Signora, who taught her ballet dancing. She eventually joined Signora's division of the Fatui, where she underwent training that was harsh enough that she stopped feeling pain. She also held some resentment, practicing her skills so she could spurn the Fatui. Instead, she was caught in the act by Signora, but the Harbinger let her be. Signora later departed to fulfill the Tsaritsa's mission, dying in Inazuma. Odette learned of her death and felt some remorse; while many destroyed the Cor Ignis that she had given them, she decided to keep hers. She was also not aware of the party responsible for her death. Five years later, she was rumored to be the ideal candidate to inherit her mentor's position. Odette was travelling across the tundra with her group for a Fatui mission when she heard of an incident at Svetloledovka, diverting to help the trapped miners there. She had finished preparations just as the Traveler was about to enter. Learning they had come with Sandrone, they entered the caves and saved the miners from an chimeric monster, driving it off. As the Traveler manifested the surrounding energies to create the Exaiphanes Blade, the cavern began to collapse, and while Odette lagged behind the Traveler, she elegantly dodged the rockfall and escaped. They then returned to Snezhnograd, where they ran into Tartaglia. The Traveler criticized both Harbingers for not opposing Project Stuzha despite knowing the suffering it caused, alarming Odette as she had never seen anyone openly criticize them. The two Harbingers, who understood where they were coming from, reassured them that they would still support their people. Odette then asked how they knew her, and Tartaglia reluctantly revealed that the Traveler was the one responsible for Signora's death. Seemingly dismayed by the news, Odette left the group under the pretense that she had some practice to do.

Mitsuru Kirijo

1
Mitsuru Kirijo is heir to the Kirijo Group and a student at Gekkoukan High School. Mitsuru is calm, confident, mature, responsible, wise and very intelligent despite being a high school student. However, she may be interpreted as slightly arrogant, conceited, cold-hearted or overconfident. As events unfold, this may be a front of maturity, due to her assumed role as the leader of SEES. Her Persona Arcana is the 03.0Empress, which fits with the "motherly/older sisterly" role she plays in the group. Mitsuru has a streak of strict conduct. Per formal Japanese culture, Mitsuru is the only member of SEES who formally addresses her fellow club mates by their last names (e.g. Yamagishi). Akihiko Sanada is an exception to this, as the two are good friends and have known each other since junior high. Eventually, she becomes more familiar with the other SEES members and refers to Yukari Takeba on a first-name basis, and the others' on occasion. Mitsuru is also very insistent with the team keeping their grades up, going so far as to sign them up for summer classes behind their backs, with the exceptions of Yukari and Fuuka (both of who she claims to have informed beforehand). Mitsuru is also outspoken and has little to no tolerance for prejudice. For example, when the female protagonist is elected leader and Junpei Iori is annoyed because "he's the only guy in the group," Mitsuru sternly tells him that "Whether one is a man or woman doesn't factor into it. The responsibility falls to those who have the gift. And let me add, if you ever say or do anything to condescend to her because she's a woman..." Despite her often getting annoyed at Akihiko's eagerness to fight, Shinjiro Aragaki claims in Persona Q that she "enjoys fighting just as much as he does, if not more." With Junpei noted that she get easily riled up then Akihiko and occasionally shown excitement in trying new things that she is not familiar with such develop a interest learning what a group date is.

Yukari Takeba is a student at Gekkoukan High School and a member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad. Yukari's Arcana is the Lovers, which focuses on balanced, connected relationships with others and important choices; as such, her personality and story revolve mainly around her relationships. She is very popular in Gekkoukan High due to her pretty looks and cheery, positive outlook on life. However, her kindness has its limits, as she's prone to mood swings and getting annoyed over trivial things, often expressing this annoyance with sarcasm. She likes to tease Junpei, even though she deeply cares for him. Her hobbies include archery and acting for drama, and she eventually makes a career of being an actress as Pink Argus. Her favorite color is pink and she has a fondness for cutesy things such as her heart choker and even maid uniforms. Despite her cheerful exterior, Yukari is secretly a very lonely girl. Although she deeply values bonds and relationships with others, she's afraid of letting anyone get too close to her with fear that they'll find out about her traumatic past. The protagonist is an exception to this, as the two can relate to each other due to their shared losses. It can be heavily implied Yukari has romantic feelings for him. Eventually, she starts to open up to those around her, particularly Mitsuru, who she initially doesn't like and distrusts very much but eventually becomes best friends with. As the Social Link ranks, with you, more specifically the female protagonist she starts to understand what it feels to have a friend her age and gender who understands her and worries about her to even start worrying about other people worrying about her selfishness and her personal problems.
