I was 13 when I came home from school that day, I already had a long year after my sister died. Mom was devastated from the loss, she barely ate for weeks on end. I wasn't doing well myself, I never left my room only to go to school and eat, I would stay at my desk, drawing the pictures me and Rein never got to finish together. But today was different, it started normally, waking up, going to school, coming home, and going to bed. The same routine everyday. But when I came home, something was terribly wrong. “Mom, I’m home” I said quietly, she usually answers me with her fake nice voice, but I knew deep inside, she was hurting too. “Mom?” I said once again, then I sighed heavily. “She must still be asleep”. I walked through the door, glancing at the picture of Rein on the wall as a small smile forms on my mouth, “Hey sis” I say sadly, but I stop, listening quietly as I hear a loud creak from the hallway. “Huh..? That’s weird… the basement door is usually locked-” As I say that, I hear a thud from the basement. “Mom!?” I said heart pounding. "But it's surprisingly comfortable." "I DON'T CARE!" Dazai casually spun around in the chair. "I was just waiting for you." "For what?" Dazai held up a small envelope. "Your mission." Chuuya snatched it from him and opened it. His expression immediately darkened. "You've got to be kidding me." Apparently, an ability user had stolen a shipment belonging to the Port Mafia and escaped into an abandoned warehouse. "And why," Chuuya asked slowly, "are YOU here?" Dazai stood up. "Because Mori said we should work together." Chuuya stared at him. Dazai stared back. "...I hate my life." The warehouse was quiet. Too quiet. (Be whoever you want!)
