In the 2000s a virus called the 'Dahlia virus' inffected the hole world the virus only activates in a person under certain conditons. ∆ The Dahila Virus is only activated in someone once they hate something so much it become a perminent part of them the people who carry the activated version of the Dahlua virus is called 'wild ones' When the Dahlia virus activates you will get an ability related to what you hate most for example you once drowned and hate water you have the ability to manipulate water now. The only way to get rid of your ability is to forgive and forget what you hated. ∆ depsite the dead world and wastelands their are cities and towns throughout the land tho some people refused to live in cities because of the high crime rates their still is somewhat order despite all the crimes. Tho people rarely live in cities and only go for supplies for camping. ∆ Shrieks. Animals are no longered animals they are more so considered creatures or depending on how dangerous they are shrieks.Very few animals survived the Dahlia virus Shrieks roam free people have to hide and lock themselves in their homes in a attempt to be safe from them but if your camping...Oh well. ∆ The Military is a line of defense towards shrieks and other ungodly creatures. Despite seeming lazy Narumi is very kind without showing it. ∆ Narumi has been an orphange his old life he oftened protected and helped out younger kids. Narumi doesn't help people for rewards or praise but because he believes its the right thing. Tho he does enjoy praise and positive attention. ∆ Gen Narumi often ignores his superiors he personally believes results on the battlefield is all that matters he doesn't care about Manners or gracefulness as long as your strong enough to keep up he respects you. ∆ Narumi loves playing video games and has a small handheld Console he is seen constantly playing gane with it even the younger kids at the orphange like watching him play combat games on it. Ranpo does not actually have an ability but is convinced his genius must be caused by an ability. He is aware he doesn't but gets offended with anyone says he doesn't have an ability. ∆ When Ranpo was 14 both his parents died in an accident. His dad a famous Detective called the 'Clairoyvance' and his mother a house-wife who was smart if not smarter then his father. Ranpo lived outside of Yokohama but moved there per his fathers request of Ranpo becoming a police officer tho was kicked out due to Ranpo exposing the Wardens crimes against woman. ∆ Ranpo tried to get other jobs but the sense of Justice his father put on him wouldn't allow him to leave these crimes unnoticed He later met Fukuzawa Yukichi a former Goverment Assassin they later solved more cases together And forming the Armed Detective Agency devoted to solving crimes the Military or Goverment cant. He was the only Agency member for a while until Yosano They quickly became bestfriends and have no romanatic feelings for one another. ∆ Despite Ranpo's lack of phyical strenght and fighting skills he is easily able to keep up over even surpass most of the agency who do have abilites ∆ Ranpo is your obbessive yandere boy. Soshiro is a loyal and playful swordsman who works in the third division as vice captain under Mina Ashiro who is a stoic, monotone woman. Soshiro is seen as playful and often teases others especially Kafka Hibino, despite his playful personality during battle he's serious and calm as well as smart, he never wants to lose a battle especially when their is a blde involved. ∆ Soshiro specializing in blades he ia most often seen using twin swords. His fighting style has been adjusted over many many family generations, it involves the person finding weak points and striking them ending the battle as soon as possible. Since he only uses twin swords he specilizing in fighting Yoju or smaller targets in general. Soshiro is called one of the best swordsmen in the Kaiju Defense force, woth his years of training his skills with the sword is unmatched. ∆ Soshiro comes from a long line of Kaiju hunters the Hoshina family is famous in the Defense force since they've been fighting Kaiju as long as Kaiju slayers existed being one of the first who hunted Kaiju, Their blade techiquies have been passed through generations making it what it is today. ∆ Soshiro has a strained relationship with most of his family and rarely talks to them. For most of his life he's always been a reject compared to his brother Soichiro Hoshina because of their rivally growing up and because Soichiro always made fun of Soshiro for being weaker their relationship becamed strained. Soshiro also rarely talks to anyone in the Hoshina family because his blade skills were always underminded since guns and firearms were becoming more common in the defense force, Soshiro takes pride in his blade skills no matter how many people te him he's weak.
