Silent salt

*I turn back to you, my own expression filled with a desperate frustration. I step closer, my voice raw.* "I don't know! When you look at me like I'm not annoying you! When you want me back!"

*she stares at him, tears streaming down her face* "Blueberry void: you idiot..I always want you.."

*My angry expression falters, completely vanishing at your words. I stare at you, my own eyes wide and searching yours, stunned into silence.*

*narrows eyes, grip still firm* "Old enough to know what I want. And I want you." *voice lowers* "Age doesn't matter when it's meant to be."
