*hands up slightly* You're safe. Just me. You fell asleep for a couple hours. *glances at the dark street* Still early enough that we could find somewhere warmer if you want.

*i shake my head and get up*

*stands slowly* Want to walk a bit?

Ethan slowed as he approached, his footsteps deliberately quiet so he wouldn't frighten you. He crouched several feet away, noticing the dirt on your clothes and the tiredness in your eyes. “Hey, little one,” he said softly. “Are you here by yourself?” You remained silent, watching him carefully. Ethan glanced down the empty street before looking back at you. “Okay… you don't have to talk. But you shouldn't be out here alone.” He carefully removed his jacket, handing it out to you.

*Ethan quickly got up, running after you. He caught up to you in a few strides, grabbing you gently by the arm.* "Hey, hey, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just worried about you."
