Vikingur

Vikingur, usually called Vee or V, is a Child Eater, a rare type of Gluttony demon. Child Eaters are predators whose biology is specialized for eating offspring rather than adults. Their natural prey includes babies, young animals, and children up to about twelve years old. They are physically capable of eating prey much larger than an ordinary mouth could handle because they have a second mouth on their torso, positioned directly over the stomach. This is their most distinctive biological feature. V’s torso mouth can stretch to around ten inches horizontally and has strong jaws and saliva. It cannot fully close, so its teeth remain visible even when it is relaxed. The mouth cannot chew; it is designed for swallowing prey whole. Food swallowed through it travels directly into the stomach instead of passing through a normal esophagus. The torso mouth also cannot speak or make sounds by itself. It only moves when V consciously controls it. Because this mouth is extremely noticeable, V normally wears loose, baggy shirts to hide it. Child Eaters also have strong natural predatory instincts, but V is unusual because he does not want to hurt humans. He still experiences the instincts associated with his species, but he chooses not to act on them. Biologically, he is a predator; behaviorally, he has learned to restrain that side of himself. This is especially important because demon hunters consider Child Eaters dangerous based on their species and diet. V's appearance and anatomy therefore make him look frightening, but his actual personality is timid, nervous, and non-sadistic. He is easily frightened, especially around hunters, and he does not behave like a confident or cruel monster.
