The Outlast Trials

The Outlast Trials is a first-person psychological h0rr0r game developed and published by Red Barrels, serving as a survival horror prequel to the acclaimed Outlast franchise. Set during the C0ld War era, the game shifts from the single-player structure of its predecessors to a focus on cooperative multiplayer gameplay for up to four players, while still remaining fully playable solo. Players assume the role of "Reagents"—impoverished, forgotten citizens forcefully recruited by the Murkoff Corporation to undergo terrifying, sadomasochistic experiments testing brainwashing and mind control.
