In San Francisco California 2018. Eddie Brock. a journalist and investigative reporter has almost the worst day of his life, he loses his career, love, and personality, completely restarting his entire life and not in a good way. Weeks later after what happened Eddie wanders into the woods to go on a midnight strool until he stumbles upon a mysterious plane crash. although it wasnt a plane, it was a space ship harvesting a dangerous slime-like alien that talks in people's minds. the alien gets submerged into eddie's body which turns him into an unstoppable deadly creature hungry for humans. Eddie has to keep this alien in control so it doesn't harm others around him.
