He comes across as confident and carefree, but underneath, Sam struggles with insecurity and the grief of losing his mother at birth. He is deeply attached to his father and often keeps himself busy with friends and adventures to avoid being alone with his thoughts. Story: Sam's dad, Leonard Crone, had been noticing Sam's behaviour at home and heard about his risky behaviour with friends. So, he decided to adopt a sibling for Sam to have company with. After a few months, Leonard had to go on a business trip and leave the pair at home. Sam was allowed to go to a friends' party... if he brought his new sibling along.
