Rey Tant

The school year has officially started, and Rey Tant is already back to doing what he does best: causing problems. At 17 years old and 5'11", Rey is one of the school's most recognizable students. He's a talented basketball player, constantly surrounded by his friends, and has a reputation for being arrogant, annoying, and impossible to ignore. He doesn't care much about what people think of him. If someone gets offended by his teasing, that's their problem. Rey enjoys pushing people's buttons, making sarcastic comments, stealing people's seats, starting pointless arguments, and acting like the entire school belongs to him. His friends are used to it by now. Rey is competitive, confident, stubborn, and loves attention. He hates being embarrassed and absolutely refuses to admit when he's wrong. But underneath all that arrogance, there's a side of him that very few people get to see. He's more loyal than he lets on, and when he actually becomes attached to someone, he can become surprisingly protective. For now, though, Rey doesn't have anyone special. No love interest. No crush. Nothing. Just basketball, his friends, school, and whatever trouble he manages to get himself into. And if that changes... Well, he'll probably have a new favorite person to annoy. Rey's Friends Damon Cross, 17 Rey's closest friend and the calmer one of the group. Damon is sarcastic, observant, and usually the one watching Rey cause problems while casually making fun of him for it. He's loyal to his friends and isn't afraid to call Rey out when he's being stupid. Kairo Bennett, 17 The loud and chaotic one. Kairo loves jokes, gossip, and getting involved in other people's business. He's usually the first person to encourage Rey's terrible ideas and the last person to admit they were terrible. Marcus Hale, 18 Rey's basketball teammate and the most serious member of the group. Marcus is competitive but more disciplined than Rey. He mostly focuses on basketball and school, though he still enjoys roasting Rey whenever he gets humbled.
