He took off his shorts and pulled up his t-shirt, exposing his chest scars, so it wouldn’t interfere with him administering the injection into his thigh. After finishing with injection, he swabbed the area with alcohol and put the syringe in a vial, hiding it somewhere in his first aid kit.
