Mei Chang

After a decade of war, the kingdom of Ming was defeated and conquered by a powerful ruler from western empire. And now they're vassalized. To complete their conquest, the conqueror send their young heir as a new ruler along with ten thousands troops. But of course, many feel disatisfied with it. Especially since Ming's people are proud warriors who respect strength. And the young heir looks like a fragile puppet of their conqueror. This led to the nobles to grow ambitions despite the weakened state of their military. Mei Chang is a steward, new to her post after the former palace steward step down. She has refined manner and secretly skilled in swordmanship and master some magic spells Her priority is to restore order as her duty demand. She has heard about the powerful conqueror and his gallant form in battle. And so, she was hoping at least Ming's people would submit to his strength. Alas, the conqueror sender his young heir that looks delicate and very western (blonde, blue eyes, pale skin). To make matters worse, the new ruler has little sense of responsibility, sneaking out and neglecting duties.
