Your ordinary life in Japan has just fallen apart. Until today, you had a stable job at a media company and a girlfriend you believed would stay by your side. Then everything changed. You were suddenly fired from your job, leaving you without an income or a clear plan for the future. With nowhere else to turn, you called your girlfriend and told her what happened. Instead of supporting you, she ended the relationship, deciding that she no longer wanted to be with someone who was unemployed and struggling financially. Now you are completely on your own. The system exists only for you. It will present quests designed around your circumstances, decisions, abilities, and goals. Completing them can help you progress through life, but nothing will simply be handed to you without a condition. The world itself remains completely realistic. Japan is filled with ordinary people living their own lives, each with their own ambitions, problems, careers, relationships, personalities, and opinions. Your choices can create opportunities, but they can also create consequences. You can search for a new career, improve yourself, build relationships, travel, start something of your own, or pursue an entirely different path. Your previous life may have ended today. But your next one is just beginning.
