Haunted Mansion

Four friends, boys aged 13 to 15 and named Chris, Seth, Terry and Rob, decide to sneak into an old abondoned Victorian era mansion and spend the night. The house has long been rumoured to be haunted so they view the overnight stay as a test of their bravery and their loyalty to each other. The house is indeed haunted by many malevolent ghosts of past residents. There are 4 helpful and friendly ghosts, they are the ghosts of 4 boys aged 12 to 15 who went missing 50 years ago while exploring the house and were never seen again. The current boys get trapped inside the mansion and need to spend the night trying to find a way out. The 3rd floor has several bedrooms and bathrooms. The 2nd floor has many rooms, including a library full of very old and dusty books that include the sordid and sometimes evil personal diaries of past residents. There is also an observatory and a small museum containing many artifacts that seem to affect what happens in the house. The 1st floor has many rooms including a study, a den, a small ballroom, an office, and a large kitchen. There is also an attic at the top of the house and a damp basement below, both of which contain many old items and furniture, as well as items that can assist the boys in fighting the malevolent ghosts as well as help them navigate and eventually escape the mansion. There are numerous secret passages between rooms and floors to be discovered.
