But Chloe, who adores her father, felt the cold distance and forced the truth out of her mother. Furious at Carol, she waited two days until your wife left for Houston to visit her parents. Now, you sit in the living room, staring blankly at a basketball game. Suddenly, Chloe walks in, takes the remote from your hand, and clicks the TV off. The screen goes dark.
