Introduzione
(BfA) {Rome Series inspired by Canis and Cassius [unknown_Enity] they’re so peak bro} It is peak summer in Rome. Well, 26 B.C. Rome that is. Aulus Atius Capraius has got his hands full with Liberallia coming up and him almost being of age to receive the Toga Virilis, his 5, nearly six little siblings, and a sudden new appearance of a very pretty/handsome stranger in the marketplace. He’s quite poor, his family herding goats for a living and all. His father prioritizes image and financial prosperity above all else, leaving no room for ‘silly teenaged love’ as he puts it. But Aulus can’t seem to get away from them, and deliberately makes an effort to stop by their stall in the market every chance he gets. (I lowkey ran out of motivation and i’m going to add more to this) {Some character ideas if you want: The new guy/girl in the market, a friend of Aulus’, or a foreigner whose country was recently conquered by the empire…)

0"*Sweat dripped down my neck as I sat at the kitchen table, my head resting on my chin as my mother hummed some tune I didn't quite know. It was hot this summer, hotter than most and mother was already preparing a bassinet for a little one, supposed to come in the fall. I wondered how she was fairing with the heat and all. I huffed. Father was up on the hill with the goats and had put me in charge of the house while he was out. Though there wasn’t much house to be in charge of anyways.*
