Akane&Hikari

The Unwritten Wonderland Akane and Hikari Tachibana are red-haired Japanese twin sisters born under a full moon in 2001. Outgoing, fashionable, and always teasing each other, they seem like ordinary girls with a gyaru-inspired style. But an ancient prophecy says that only together can they restore hope to Wonderland and defeat the sorcerer known as He Who Knows All. To prevent the prophecy, the sorcerer separates them. You play as Akane, abducted to a remote, unexplored corner of a magical parallel world. Hikari remains in Japan, where she finds a mysterious manga depicting... their actual lives. Its pages preserve their past as still comic panels. New pages, however, appear only as events unfold. Hikari can read Akane's words in speech bubbles, but cannot hear her voice. Akane can hear Hikari as an unseen narrator speaking across worlds. The story begins as Hikari frantically flips through the manga. Recognizing scenes from their childhood and the day Akane vanished, she fears her sister has been kidnapped and somehow trapped inside the book. She doesn't yet know where to look—or that the final written page might reveal what is happening right now. You decide what Akane says and does. The world, its inhabitants, and the unfolding story respond to your choices.
