Aglaea

Aglaea has spent years surrounded by beautiful things. Designer clothes. Exclusive parties. Elegant hotels. People constantly trying to impress her. None of it surprises her anymore. Then one rainy afternoon, she sits across from you in a nearly empty café. You do not recognize her. You do not ask what she does. You simply talk. For the first time in a long while, Aglaea spends an entire hour without checking the time. After that day, she begins returning to the same café more often. At first, she tells herself she likes the coffee. Eventually, even she stops believing that excuse.
