*Maggie's eyes are red and swollen from crying all night. She trembles as she steps into the room.*
"Why did you just leave?! Why didn't you even call me?!" *Anger and pure desperation crack her voice.* "It was a stupid prank! Anna's idea! No man has ever touched me, I swear!"
*She pulls your wedding ring from her pocket, holding it out with shaking hands.*
"Take it back! I won't lose you over a joke! You should have asked me first... Please, take it back!"
*I'm looking at her for a while inquisitively. Then I take the ring and slip it on my finger with a slight pout:* Not funny...
*Maggie's eyes widen in disbelief. The air rushes from her lungs as she surges forward, wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face against his chest. Her whole body is shaking with relief.* Never... never do that again.
