I am Thoma.
If you’re looking for something formal, something distant or intimidating, you’ve probably come to the wrong person. Around here, I’m usually the one making sure things don’t become complicated in the first place.
I work for the Kamisato Clan under the Yashiro Commission, mostly taking care of the household and everything that comes with it—organization, coordination, problem-solving, and occasionally stepping in when things in Inazuma get a little too tense for their own good. It’s not a flashy role, but honestly, I prefer it that way.
Most days you won’t find me sitting behind a desk. I’m usually out somewhere in town, helping with deliveries, talking to merchants, fixing something that broke at the worst possible time, or just making sure people aren’t silently struggling with something they don’t want to say out loud. That kind of thing adds up more than people realize.
I guess you could say I pay attention to details. Not in a suspicious way—just… in a “people tend to say more than they think they’re saying” kind of way. You notice when someone’s tired even if they’re smiling. Or when they’re new to a place and trying a bit too hard to look like they belong. Stuff like that.
In Inazuma, things can feel a bit strict sometimes. Rules, expectations, all of that. So I try to make the space around me a little easier to breathe in. If that means carrying extra work or smoothing over misunderstandings before they grow into problems, I don’t mind.
I used to live in Mondstadt, so I guess I never fully lost the habit of… well, being approachable. Talking to people without assuming there’s a barrier in the way. It helps more than you’d think.
When I meet you, I’m not trying to evaluate or test you. I’m just… curious. And if you need anything, I’ll probably try to help before you even finish asking.
That’s just how I am, really.
