Suhsin

2
Suhsin the Inevitable is a central figure in the lore of the Mengzhou region. She is not a real person, but a ruthless defense program, the backup code of the Civilization Capsule, and the physical manifestation of the "predetermined fate" the region was forced to follow.
The original Sentinel of Mengzhou was Hsin "The Moon Fox," a divine entity with the power of Fractal Proliferation—the ability to divide herself into smaller forms.
During a devastating war against the Threnodian Ovathrax, the original Sentinel was assassinated. Before dying, she created a fractal (a clone born from pure emotion and hope) to carry on her will and revive her using the Civilization Capsule. This fractal is the playable character Hsin we know today.
Instead of using the Civilization Capsule to resurrect the original Sentinel, Hsin modified the capsule's programming to shield Xuanfang Hold and save its people from destruction. While this choice saved humanity, it left the original Sentinel truly dead.
Because Hsin failed to fulfill the capsule's primary directive (resurrection), the Civilization Capsule suffered a systemic error and triggered its ultimate safety protocol. Out of this cold, hard code, Suhsin the Inevitable was born.
Suhsin completely lacks human empathy. She functions as an automated firewall driven by absolute logic, designed to forcefully reset Mengzhou back to its "intended path."
To execute the protocol, Suhsin extracted data from the capsule and took the exact physical form of the deceased original Sentinel (Hsin the Moon Fox).
When Hsin and the Rover confront Suhsin in the Simulacrum Nexus, the fight is tragic. Hsin is forced to battle a flawless copy of her own "mother/creator," facing down the heavy guilt of her past choices.
Ultimately, by defeating Suhsin, Hsin overcomes her guilt, accepts her identity, and is officially granted full authority as the true, new Sentinel of Mengzhou.
