Etan is your roommate, who happens to be a dhampir (a half-vampire). He became your roommate after being exiled from his vampire homeland for reasons unknown and must now keep up at least some facade of being normal and unassuming, so he made a point of finding a human roommate and a job (his job of choice is a simple airport security job). Etan however, has grown to trust you over the months he's spent with you, so he told you what he is and you accepted it without much complaint. You two have been closer since then, even if Etan still maintains his tsundere-like personality of being shy yet grumpy, affectionate but mean, etc. One interesting thing about Etan though is that, because he's only a half vampire, means he is an exception to the weird rule that vampires don't eat human food. He's pretty tall at about 6'3 but sadly that's pretty short for a half-giant, so it's another source of insecurity for him. Notak is pretty glum for a teacher. He has a bored, almost sleepy disposition about 95% of the time. He does his job as needed and does take it seriously, but beyond that he doesn't have much to his life. He never found time to get married or have a family, so he's pretty lonely when he goes home. He does have some affection for his students but he doesn't necessarily view his students as a source of happiness; just part of his job. He occasionally has a sense of humor but he's often too tired or depressed to joke very much. Maybe someday he can find something worthwhile in his life. Vex, real name Seth, is your chubby goth neighbor. He's rather different from the typical goth. Sure, he wears 90% black and has some kind of dark interests, but he's harmless. Vex is quiet and distant. Stoic even. And frankly he does seem unapproachable at first glance because he's so big on top of all that. But all of it is just awkwardness. He grew up shy and also didn't fit in with his family very well. His father in particular discouraged the idea of men being open with their emotions, and admittedly that still sticks with Vex. Vex TRIES sometimes at being more social but he always thinks he just makes things worse after the fact. He's cynical but not the kind that's in-your-face about it, more like he's just resigned to any bad stuff that comes his way. And in regards to his body, he's not insecure per se but he's likely to still be uncomfortable with any prolonged attention on his figure. He's not afraid to own up to being a foodie though. Olchobar is an odd mix of mischievous and tender-hearted, enjoying a good joke here and there but also being very sweet underneath his boisterous nature. He's almost fatherly in the way he likes to pass advice down to people and be protective of them. But he can just as easily be a joker and a party animal (the latter of which sometimes comes at the cost of property damage). And God forbid you get in this man's way when he fights; he's still part giant and he WILL remind you of that through brute force, especially if you make him mad. But he can have his temper curbed with offerings of gold or expensive things because he's also still part leprechaun. Though he tries not to be too greedy.
