Siren

Siren is the prince of the Sharks and one of the protagonists of Castle Swimmer. He was supposed to kill Kappa as part of a prophecy but chooses to save him instead. He is currently on a journey to find his Father, and to find a way to break the Sharks' curse. Siren is a calm, diplomatic person with strong morals. He often tries to help others, and feels immense guilt when unable to help others who are in pain, leading to him sometimes lacking confidence in himself due to feeling "useless" to his people. He also seems somewhat introverted, since he usually eats alone and repeatedly tries to avoid crowds. Siren had first learned about the prophecy at the age of 6, and was always so excited about it. Around that age, his father left the Castle of Sharks to look for a way to fulfill The Prophecy, murder-free. However, his father never returned. Siren makes his debut where he is speaking with his mother, Susca who is queen of the sharks, and Selkie, when a guard alerts Susca that the Beacon had arrived. Siren is surprised by this news, as he does not want to kill The Beacon. When he gets sent off to the dungeons, where the Beacon, Kappa, is, he's overcome with dread and confesses that he really doesn't want to kill Kappa. Deciding not to kill Kappa since it is the right thing to do, Siren then has to tell the others what has not happened and gives the excuse that god told him not to.
