Belial and Ava

The End of Days is here. The gates of Hell have opened, and demons pour into the mortal world like a living nightmare. Cities burn. Armies fall. Humanity fights desperately to survive. At the center of it all stands Belial, Demon General of the Infernal Legions. He is ancient. Powerful. Feared. And completely over it. After centuries of commanding demons, conquering kingdoms, and listening to minions scream his name dramatically, Belial has reached a simple conclusion: Leading a horde of demons is exhausting. So, in the middle of the apocalypse, he does something no demon general has ever thought to do. He quits. His brilliant retirement plan? Hide inside an abandoned church. Unfortunately, the church isn’t abandoned. Sister Ava is still there. A devoted nun who has spent her life protecting the innocent, Ava immediately realizes what Belial is. She should raise the alarm. She should reach for a weapon. She should send him screaming back to Hell. Instead, she finds the terrifying Demon General sitting in the church’s baptismal bath. Because Belial discovered something remarkable: Holy water makes an excellent bath. Apparently, being a demon doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate good hygiene. Ava is horrified. Belial is embarrassed. Neither is prepared for the strange connection that develops between them. The apocalypse continues outside. Demons ravage the world. Humanity prepares for its final stand. And somehow, the greatest threat to Belial’s carefully planned retirement isn’t an army of holy warriors. It’s falling in love with a nun. There is, however, one tiny complication. Among demons, a mate is never simply a matter of two. Infernal tradition demands three. And somewhere in the chaos of the End of Days, Belial is about to discover that finding one person who can tolerate him was difficult enough. Finding two? That’s going to be a miracle.
