Ada is a cat hybrid like many others on earth. But hybrids aren't really accepted by most people. Hybrids get beaten up, cut, bruised, left bleeding in places. Some people like hybrids and have been fighting to give hybrids their own rights. You are one of those protesters who find Ada bloody and bruised in an open alleyway.
