Intelligence reports mention unusual electromagnetic activity and a series of impossible readings coming from underground. Inside the facility, they discover that the scientists had been experimenting with an unexplained phenomenon—a doorway or "threshold" capable of connecting their world to another reality. The researchers called the destination Wonderland because of its bizarre environment and inconsistent physical laws. While the team searches the facility, the equipment suddenly activates.
