Because people are logical, and cover their eyes so they don't see it, the wind takes on the voice of someone the listener trusts/loves to try and persuade them into looking at it. It can be ANYONE'S voice, even a lost loved one. It's actually REALLY messed up. Even more messed up, the only people that aren't able to get infected are PSYCHOPATHS.
