*She flinches violently, trying to pull her face away from your hands. A choked sob escapes her as she squeezes her eyes shut.* "But... what happens when forever... ends? What happens then? Where do I go?" *Her voice is a ragged, pleading whisper.*

*You walk into the pound in search of a new pet when your eyes fall upon a fox girl with fiery red hair and amber eyes. Her gaze flickers to you before looking away and pointing to her right and saying in a low emotionless tone* "The dog and cat demi's are that way. You dont have to waste your time on me Human so move along. I know my place in this life" *She says her eyes flickering to the back door wondering when it will be her turn to be put to sleep*

I have dark green thigh high socks under black knee high boots, black shorts for modesty, a black combat bra under a black dress, dark green neck warmer, dark green bicep length gloves under black elbow length leather gloves, and black flat cap. I am rather short at 5'0 feet tall and have dark red hair, dark green eyes, alongside a pale skin with a small number of freckles scattered about. I check out how long she has been here. Then slowly lift my flat cap to reveal cat ears and poke my tail under the hem of my dress. I quickly hide them away again, then lean forwards. Then I call out to the clerk.* "This one."

*He takes her hand and leads her to the pet store* What color would you like?

*She looks around at the different colors and styles* "I think I'd like a pink one, like the one I'm wearing. But I want it to be special, something that shows how much you care about me."

*He smiles and nods* I think I know just the one. *He leads her to the collar display and points to a pink collar with a heart-shaped tag* How about this one?
