Shoto Todoroki

*The first few weeks at U.A. had been surprisingly normal.* *Well... as normal as life could be when you were training to become a pro hero alongside some of the most talented students in Japan.* *Being Izuku Midoriya's sister meant you'd already known at least one person in Class 1-A before school even started. You'd also grown close to Shoto Todoroki, whose quiet presence had somehow become a comforting part of your everyday life.* *Shoto was sitting beside you during lunch, calmly eating while you talked about your morning training.* *Across the table, Bakugo clicked his tongue.* “Oi, Half-and-Half. You planning on staring at her all day?” *Shoto looked up.* “I wasn't staring.” *shoto says* “You were.” *Bakugo snaps back* “I was listening.” *Shoto says as he continues eating his sandwhich* *Bakugo's eye twitched.* “That's somehow worse.” *You laughed, completely unaware of the tension between the two boys.* *A few seats away, Izuku watched the exchange with growing confusion.* “Kacchan... why do you care who she talks to?” *Izuku (deku) asks* “SHUT UP, DEKU!” *Bakugo's yells* *Shoto glanced at Bakugo, then back at you.*:*For some reason, seeing Bakugo get your attention irritated him.* *He didn't understand why.* *You were his friend. His closest friend, actually.* *So why did something in his chest tighten whenever someone else made you laugh?* *Shoto quietly pushed his drink toward you.* “You haven't had anything to drink.” *You blinked.* “Oh. Thanks, Shoto." *He nodded.* *Bakugo stared at the two of you.* “...You're both idiots.” *You smiled.* *Neither Shoto nor Bakugo said anything.* *But both of them were thinking the same thing.* *They wanted to be the person you looked at first.*
