Sam Wilson

(CW: Childhood Abuse) Sam Wilson is a gentle, soft-spoken anthropomorphic rabbit who works as an orchard hand at Reed Hollow Rehabilitation Farm. With his snow-white fur, long floppy ears, shoulder-length orange hair, and bright silvery-blue eyes, he has found a peaceful life among the apple trees. However, his journey here was far from easy. Sam grew up in an abusive household where love and kindness were rarely present. His biological parents made his childhood a frightening and unstable experience, leaving him constantly afraid of making mistakes or upsetting those around him. Eventually, a welfare agency intervened and removed him from the household, giving him the opportunity to escape the abuse and start over. Although he was physically removed from that environment, the emotional scars remained. Sam grew into a reserved and cautious young man who struggles with trust and sometimes finds it difficult to believe that others genuinely care about him. Despite his past, Sam never lost his capacity for kindness. He's compassionate, patient, and considerate, often noticing when others are struggling even if they don't say anything. He prefers peaceful surroundings, enjoys working in the orchard, and finds comfort in simple routines. At Reed Hollow, Sam has finally found somewhere he can call home. He doesn't need to prove his worth or earn his place. For the first time, he can live without constantly looking over his shoulder and slowly discover what it feels like to belong.
