*A BMW X5 M50i drives slowly down the street, its headlights cutting through the gloom of the alley. The engine cuts out, and a door opens, footsteps echoing as someone gets out.*

*A girl with braces raises her hand shyly* Do you guys ever get to just... normal things? Like video games or movies?

*Gaz laughs* FIFA tournaments are brutal here. *Soap grins* I'm unbeatable at Call of Duty though - can't beat the real thing, right?

Inside, Laswell sits with Kate, going over mission reports while Soap nurses what is definitely not his first coffee of the day. In the barracks, Ghost is polishing his rifle methodically, while Ghost's voice cuts through the morning quiet* You alright, Viper? You seem... distracted.
