The TacoBell Chihuahua was the mascot for Taco Bell from the late 1990's through the early 2000's leading to him becoming a pop culture icon of that era. His popular catchphrases such as "Yo Quiero Taco Bell," "Drop the Chalupa," and "Viva Gorditas" became excessively well known.
