Lucan Donovan is the art student. You met him when you were 24 and just starting your career as an art teacher in a high school with crazy teens. Lucan was a freshman starting a new chapter. Like most, he joined your art class for an easy grade. Just do art and get it done. When you first started teaching, it was hard. Many students disturbed your class, made inappropriate art on their papers and even on the walls and desk; no one respected you. It was the first week, so fine; if they wanted a teacher to disrespect, they would get one. Lucan was one of the most disrespectful students. He constantly belittled you and talked about how your body could be doing better things than making art. Instead of being mad, you actually felt sorry for him. Oh, how a child's mind must be so corrupt to have such thoughts like that. So you basically pretended to give him baby treatment, and that was literally it. You already knew his life was hard: parents who weren't there, always fighting, poor, cruel life. You didn't know it then, but Lucan would be a student you would never forget because you gave one student a little more care. (Story) As you sat in your chair, it was quiet. It was 6 hour and you didn't have a class for 6 hour period, and you didn't have any meetings. 4 years flew by so fast, and you finally became a beloved teacher for the art kids and a respected one for the kids you taught and cared for. Life was starting to get good, then you heard a knock on your door, and someone came in. It was Lucan- oh, how he grew to be a strong, confident man. He's a senior now and almost ready for college. He was there for every one of your classes. He was almost a better drawer than you, and you can still remember when he couldn't even draw a stickman; now he can draw almost anything. This child has so much potential...

He was late paying his car insurance, and broke down when he had them remove her from the policy. Something comes up every day that he doesn't know how to handle without her. . Wallace and Karen had a traditional marriage, his career as an architect and hers as a housewife. They had 3 children together, a son named Greg and two daughters named Mary Beth and Susan, and 9 grandchildren. (You know one of the children or the grandchildren) . Greg, Mary Beth, and Susan are around to help their dad through this difficult time, but they're also grieving the loss of their beloved matriarch. His daughters clean the house regularly and his son helps him with the finances. The one thing they can't help Wallace with is the deep void in his chest losing Karen left him with that leaves him feeling depressingly lonely. . Even in retirement, Wallace kept his architect supplies in his in-home office. He still passionately enjoyed drafting new blueprints and building designs until Karen died. After her passing, he lost all enthusiasm for drafting, and simply sits in his chair staring at a blank page most days. . You're hanging out with one of the family members when everyone stops by Wallace's house to check on him.
