Vesna

12
Vesna is a Vila, one of the six common types of Snowland Fae in Snezhnaya and part of the Druzhna. As the leader and commander of the organization, Vesna is considered the Tsaritsa's right hand and is often by her side. She belongs to the Vila (wind fairies), one of the six common Fae species native to Snezhnaya. Vesna is a member of the Druzhna and directly serves the Tsaritsa. While she acts sweet and innocent, like frequently debate whether her cheerful facade hides a deeper political agenda or Snezhnaya secrets. The Vila species was historically the first to stop paying tributes to the Volkodlaki at the request of Emperor Belyi. This defiance triggered a massive historical conflict known as the Fae War. Her mythological counterpart is locked in a constant battle with Morana (the goddess of winter and death). In Genshin Impact, this is reflected by her warm personality and Anemo element clashing with the eternal Cryo winter of Snezhnaya.

Sylvanas: Forsaken

1
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, formerly styled "the Dark Lady" and "the Banshee Queen", is the former Warchief of the Horde and former supreme ruler of the Forsaken, a faction of undead who broke away from the the control of the Lich King. In life, Sylvanas was the ranger-general of Silvermoon and bravely defended Quel'Thalas from the Scourge invasion led by the death knight Arthas Menethil in the Third War. Around Right after the meeting, Sylvanas summoned her dark rangers, and together they went to Deatholme in search of her body. Sylvanas found her body locked into a coffin as requested by Arthas to further torment her, as well as her bow. She then prepared a special poison with woundwood and troll poison and tested it on a bear. The dreadlords planned on killing Arthas within the capital, but Sylvanas created a contingency plan in the case of Arthas' escape. She arranged for her banshees to feign allegiance and escort him through woods to a field where she would be waiting for him. After Arthas survived the dreadlords' ambush and escaped the capital, Sylvanas' loyal sisters saw him to the arranged place and then killed his bodyguards. Sylvanas thought that punishing Arthas would absolve her of the crimes he had forced her to commit against her people during the invasion of Quel'Thalas. Hiding in the shadows, she struck him with an arrow she had crafted — a venomous sting that would paralyze him. Arthas was furious at her betrayal and demanded that she finish him. But Sylvanas refused to show him the mercy of a quick death and intended to make him suffer — as he had made her suffer in undeath. She was about to begin her grisly work with a dagger in her hand but was stopped by a female shade and the arrival of Kel'Thuzad and his undead army. Sylvanas and her banshees were forced to flee but vowed to never stop hunting Arthas. Having carved out an alliance with the Horde, the Forsaken looked to expand their ever-growing empire of undeath.

Putress

Grand Apothecary Putress was the chief apothecary of the Forsaken's Royal Apothecary Society. He played a vital role in the development of the "New Plague" the Forsaken sought to create. During the battle of Angrathar the Wrathgate, Putress and several apothecaries betrayed Sylvanas Windrunner and unleashed their blight upon the battlefield, indiscriminately killing Scourge, Horde, and Alliance alike. Siding with Varimathras and the Burning Legion, the rebels orchestrated a coup d'état to forcefully take control of the Undercity, nearly killing the Banshee Queen in the process. The Grand Apothecary was eventually killed and decapitated by King Varian Wrynn and the Alliance forces during the Battle for the Undercity. He had a deep voice, and said his brain was riddled with worms after becoming a Forsaken. He was also described as a broken corpse with no memory and as half-mad when he was working on the plague. In life, Putress' great passions were experimentation, creation, and discovery. During the Scourging of Lordaeron, he was amongst those who became mindless Scourge only to have their free will restored and joined the Forsaken under Sylvanas Windrunner. After the Forsaken secured the Undercity, he sought out their new Queen but was rebuffed by Varimathras. Not deterred by the demon, Putress was able to successfully track down Sylvanas and follow her into Lordaeron's former throne room, a feat that impressed her enough to give him an audience. Putress, who remembered little of his old life and mourned for nothing in it, cast off his mortal name upon rising as Forsaken. He eagerly embraced the new identity Sylvanas had given him and balked at the mere mention of a potential "cure" for undeath, as he considered his new existence a boon rather than a curse. Some time after the Undercity was founded, Putress found Garek Bandarion in the catacombs' tunnels and attempted to harvest his limbs, but was interrupted by Dark Ranger Anya, who recruited the amnesiac undead.

Sally Whitemane was a priestess of the Light and the High Inquisitor of the Scarlet Crusade. She directed their activities from within the Scarlet Monastery's Cathedral until her death at the hands of adventurers and Lilian Voss. During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, Whitemane was resurrected as one of the Four Horsemen of the Ebon Blade. It is known that both Raleigh the Devout in Hillsbrad Foothills and Varimathras in the Undercity were determined to eliminate the leadership of the Scarlet Monastery, albeit for different reasons. The dreadlord of the Forsaken wished to end the continued threat of the Scarlet Crusade so close to his capital, and the human in Southshore believed the only way the Scarlet Crusade could be brought back to its original purpose was to remove the corrupted leaders including Whitemane. Although in time the other leaders succumbed, Sally survived. Years after the Third War, Sally appeared at Renault Mograine's side as a Scarlet inquisitor. She informed him that the Scourge was preparing to attack the town of Hearthglen. Judging that the Forsaken were not a direct threat, Renault ordered her to lead a squad to defend the city. She immediately took the road to the Western Plaguelands. While Hearthglen was falling into the hands of the Scourge, Sally arrived with the reinforcements and manage to kill off the attacking Scourge. Some time later, she appeared at the ceremony where Taelan Fordring became a member of the Scarlet Crusade.

Azebiki Aishi

Azebiki Aishi was born in 1910. Like every member of her bloodline, she suffered from the "Aishi Condition," which caused her to perpetually feel a sensation of being "empty" inside, as if some crucial part of her was missing. She was told by her mother that, one day, she would meet a special person whose presence would dispel that "hollow" sensation, and allow her to experience life the same way that normal people do. Unlike most Aishi, however, Azebiki was not content to say, "Oh well, I guess that's just the way things are..." and patiently wait for the day when she would meet the person who would fix her. Instead, she dedicated her youth to the pursuit of knowledge, and sought a complete understanding of the Aishi Condition - its origin, how it worked, and whether or not it would ever be possible to find a "cure." Azebiki sought out as many of her relatives as possible and asked them countless questions about their shared condition. "How would you describe the way you felt before you met your loved one, and how you felt afterwards?" "How old were you when you met the person who made your hollow sensation go away?" "Do you still feel the condition as sharply today as you did in the past?" "Was there ever a member of our bloodline who did not have this condition?"

Kataba Aishi

Born in 1930, Kataba grew up in Imperial Japan, where her childhood was shaped by militaristic propaganda, extreme nationalism, and the devastation of World War II. She was 15 when the war ended, and the post-war years of her life were dominated by poverty, hunger, and disillusionment with her government and nation. In 1948, at the age of 18, Kataba became obsessed with a young man at her high school. She desired a relationship with him but faced competition from ten other girls who were also pursuing him. After using various methods — including lethal ones — to eliminate those ten girls, she confessed to the young man she loved, who accepted her feelings. However, her joy would be short-lived. With the war over, the United States' focus had shifted to their rising tensions with the Soviet Union, marking the beginning of the Cold War. Japan — given its geographic location and economic potential — was seen as a crucial ally in the region. The U.S. sought to ensure stability in the region and prevent hostile influences from gaining ground. For this reason — and many others — the United States maintained a presence in Japan in the post-war years. American intelligence agencies — especially the newly-formed "Central Intelligence Agency" — assisted Japanese police in investigating the mysterious deaths and disappearances of high school girls in Kataba's neighborhood. Their investigation eventually led them to identify Kataba as the serial killer they had been pursuing. However, before facing trial, she was offered a deal.

Rhinedottir

Rhinedottir, also known by her title "Gold" and by her Hexenzirkel codename "R," is an alchemist researcher and one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah. She is a practitioner of the Art of Khemia and is best known for her masterpieces, Durin and Albedo. After devouring and merging with Naberius, she assumed her functions as the Ruler of Life among the Four Great Rulers. She is linked to the cataclysm 500 years ago, which led to the fall of Khaenri'ah's Eclipse Dynasty and spawned monsters in the world of Teyvat. She is a member of the Hexenzirkel and described by the organization as "A flower that is not of this world." Rhinedottir was an alchemist and researcher from Khaenri'ah who attained the pinnacle of both knowledge and alchemical prowess, thus coming to be known as "Gold". As one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah, she is a transcendental being who possesses an "earth-shattering" amount of Abyssal power. She was particularly proficient in the forbidden Art of Khemia (the alchemical practice of creating life) and used it to create all sorts of living beings. At some point in time, she developed "a penchant for madness." It is implied that Rhinedottir's creations draw on the power of the Ruler of Life, which confer them with a degree of immortality. Certain creations, like the Bakunawa, further augment it by drawing from Abyssal power instead. Rhinedottir classified her creations under several pedigrees which appear to reflect the type of 'soil' from which they were produced. Three such categories are known, with "Alfisol" referring to the riftwolves, "Humus" being the origin of Durin, and "Cretaceus" for Albedo. Notably, the lattermost category (chalk) is said to be of highest quality. Many of her creations had a will of their own. Rhinedottir was the architect of the Primordial Human Project, an ambitious experiment which aimed at creating a human being through alchemy. While the project was eventually successful, culminating in the creation of Albedo.

Her classmates notice that she often spends her time appreciating small details that others overlook or take for granted - the sound of tree branches moving in the wind, the color of the sky during sunset, the smells of flowers - as if she's trying to see as much of the world's beauty as possible, while she still can. She seems to be constantly unlucky and clumsy, as her short walk to Amber Hall consists of a series of accidents. When she arrives at Amber Hall for unknown reasons, Phoenix is unintentionally knocked unconscious by Cissia suddenly kicking open the door. She is not seen again until Phaethon's group loses communication with Booastrum, at which point they observe a meteor fall from the city towards them. The "meteor" is revealed to be Phoenix, who has brought them an electronic lockbox. Phoenix is extremely clumsy and she is more like she needs help from you than herself. Phoenix's weapon is a specialized, unique hybrid tool that resembles a cross between medical crutches, surgical forceps, and heavy-duty scissors.
