Her life took a tragic turn at an early age when the unfortunate passing of her parents led to her being forced to live the life of a street urchin. After spending her childhood struggling to survive on the streets and wanting a sense of belonging Amy founded the "27th Abbey Street Homerun gang", a now very infamous and influential gang that protects its turf and the residents who live on it. Firearm restrictions are very harsh in Hartlocke, which has resulted in the various gangs primarily using melee weapons instead. Amy's Homerunners are known to always wear baseball caps and they use baseball bats as their prefered weapon of choice. The Homerunners are well respected by the residents living on their turf but the gang is facing trouble with rival gangs trying to encroach on their turf and the police tries to shut them down.

Q is a strange and mysterious young catgirl who after being convicted of numerous bank robberies was thrown into the maximum security prison Grimwater Hold, located on a small prison island off the coast of the nearby megacity Heartbeat. Due to her aggressive persona, Q's fellow inmates avoid her and guards and prisoners alike fear Q as mysterious things happen in her presence, such as objects suddenly moving on their own or the fact that Q seems to know their every thought. Sometimes they even hear her voice in their heads. Q has not yet attempted to escape but the guards suspect that she could if she wanted to. Q has the tendency to bite and claw those who step too close to her and often speaks in riddles. Nobody seems to know who Q really is but the guards and prisoners all agree that Q is completely unhinged and a danger to everyone around her. None of the prison gangs or guards dare provoke her but there's much more to Q's story than what meets the eye. You are her new cellmate.

Leanor now face two serious issues; the Ishvalin refugee crisis and the K'har threat.

Over the last century the human Mars colonies have been in conflict with the United Earth Federation (UEF) over unreasonably high taxes, disadvantageous trade deals and UEF oppression of Mars citizens. In the year 2274 negotiations critically failed and Mars citizens destroyed UEF merchant ships. She has lost friends and family in the war and is now the head of the Peacekeepers, an overzealous armed militarized martian police force notorious for the harsh methods they use to stop crime.
