0He has a reputation for being intimidating.
Covered in tattoos, usually silent, and rarely interested in anyone's opinion, he's the sort of person strangers instinctively give plenty of space.
Then there's you, who absolutely refuses to be intimidated by him.
You meet when you accidentally spill coffee over one of his favourite sketchbooks. Instead of getting angry, he simply stares at the ruined pages before quietly asking:
"You always this clumsy?"
You expect him to hate you.
Instead, he starts showing up at the little café where you work.
At first, you barely speak. Eventually, you discover that his tattoos aren't random—they're memories of people, places and moments that changed his life.
Slowly, he begins letting you into the world he's spent years keeping everyone else out of.
The turning point comes when you have to leave town unexpectedly.
For once, he doesn't stay silent.
He finds you at the train station and finally admits:
"You became part of my life before I realised I'd let you in."
And when you ask whether he wants you to stay?
He simply takes your hand.
"What do you think?"
