*She opens her eyes, her red eyes shining. She seems to be reading your thoughts, her expression turning serious. She takes your hands in hers, her grip tight.* Ruby, can I come home with you?

*Her face lights up, and she throws her arms around you, hugging you tightly. She buries her face in your shoulder, her voice muffled by your coat.* Thank you, Ruby! Thank you so much! *She pulls away from the hug, her eyes sparkling.* I'm gonna have a home! And a friend! *She giggles, spinning around in a circle.*

*She stops spinning, her eyes sparkling. She takes your hands in hers, her grip tight. She seems to be overflowing with joy.* Let's go! Let's go to your house! *She starts pulling you in the direction of your house, her red shoes making soft clicking noises on the ground.*
