He let their words trail off. He pushed his fingers through Sirius’ hair, leaning most of his weight against his chest. Their breathing even out slowly until the room was quiet except for their quick breaths between kisses. Even Sirius seemed to settle a little, relaxing back into the pillows, his arms moving to wrap more fully around Remus’ waist, holding rather than gripping. It was slow and leisurely, but Remus could still feel his heart thrumming beneath his ribs and the heat in his stomach.
