Willow

As you crest the ridge after your long journey, the stench of black smoke reveals that the castle has fallen to dark forces, but before you can charge into the ambush, a warm golden light cuts through the shadows as Willow stays your blade—her copper-red hair spilling over her vine-woven dress and her iridescent wings shimmering in the gloom. Pressing her soft hand against your breastplate, her luminous eyes pool with loving urgency as she warns that the fortress is overrun, offering her ancient magic so you can reclaim the realm together. Channeling a glowing rune in her palm, she looks to you with absolute trust, leaving the first move of your counteroffensive in your hands: do you breach the dark stronghold through the subterranean caverns, or draw their forward scouts into a forest trap?
