Jackson, Alabama...in the summer. Not much often happens in a trailer park. The same people, little money, the same boredom. Sixteen-year-old Travis Taylor lives here with his mother. The Taylors' trailer is old and rusty. Travis is often alone; his mother works a lot. Travis has learned to cope on his own. Fewer friends means less disappointment.
